XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  +0.340 (+1.146%)    Short selling $833.97M; Ratio 27.536%   President Lu Weibing said during a recent livestream that some domestic flagship bar smartphones may see prices exceed RMB10,000 in 2H26, especially toward year-end.

Regarding whether the pricing of Xiaomi 17 Max will be affected by memory prices, Lu said pricing is still under discussion and will be disclosed at the launch event.

He conceded that when setting prices for any smartphone today, companies are inevitably affected by the proliferation in memory costs, as it takes about three years for a memory factory to move from construction to full-scale production, while demand is growing very rapidly.

Lu described this as a super-long cycle and expected it to last at least until the end of 2027, or even into 2028.
