Singapore's Department of Statistics announced that Singapore's non-oil domestic exports in April rose 24.5% YoY, far exceeding market expectations, compared with a 15.3% increase in the previous period. Electronic exports continued to expand, supported by AI-related demand, mainly involving IC (integrated circuits), disk media products and personal computers. Non-electronic exports also recorded growth.During the period, Singapore's non-oil domestic exports to the US, Mainland China and Hong Kong in April increased 59.6%, 37.8% and 63.2% YoY, respectively.Singapore's total merchandise trade in April rose 33.1% YoY, compared with a 38.3% increase in the previous period.
