Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) conducted yesterday (15th) a full-scale trial at Terminal 2 (T2) in preparation for the commissioning of its new departure facilities scheduled for 27 May 2026.

More than 1,100 participants from around 30 organizations took part in the exercise, including Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), three local airlines that will operate at T2, ground handlers, government departments, Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) and other relevant stakeholders.
