Data from the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) showed that service consumption demand was robust during the "May Day" holiday, while goods consumption remained generally stable, with adequate supply and stable prices of daily necessities.In terms of service consumption, according to commerce big data, the number of cross-provincial tourists nationwide on key platforms increased by 7.6% YoY, of which tourists traveling over 800 kilometers rose by 20% YoY, driving hotel accommodation spending up by 18% YoY. Car rental orders grew by 21% YoY, including a 67.6% YoY increase in inter-city orders.
