Citi Research said in a report that after Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN.US) announced its 1Q26 results, its view on the stock has turned increasingly positive, driven by accelerating growth in cloud services, robust retail demand and overall margin expansion, which it believes can be sustained.The broker noted that as demand for Amazon.com, Inc.'s core cloud services continues to rebound, cloud services growth is expected to keep accelerating. Meanwhile, retail demand remains resilient, partly benefiting from the companys expansion into fresh food and groceries, as well as faster delivery speeds. Crucially, as improved operating efficiency leads to lower service costs, retail margins are expanding.
