Honda Motor (7267.JP) will exit the South Korea automobile market, bringing an end to its 23 years of operations in the country. Honda stated that amid changes in the market and exchange rate fluctuations, the company has carefully reviewed its business direction and therefore decided to cease automobile sales in South Korea by the end of this year.Honda said it will continue to provide services to existing customers. Going forward, it will strengthen its motorcycle business in South Korea by enhancing product competitiveness, customer service and brand experience. (mn/a)
