Bill Hornbuckle, Chief Executive Officer and President of MGM Resorts International, said in a social media post that during his recent visit to Beijing, he met with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, according to Macao media outlet IAG. Also attending the meeting were Pansy Ho, MGM CHINA (02282.HK)  -0.030 (-0.259%)    Short selling $3.02M; Ratio 11.922%   Chairman cum Executive Director.

Hornbuckle noted that the two sides exchanged views on business and tourism cooperation, cultural exchange, and the important role of tourism as a catalyst for overall economic activity. They also discussed the importance of continuously supporting bilateral tourism, including expanding tourism footprints beyond major cities and leveraging large-scale cultural, entertainment and sporting events to enhance visitor engagement.
