The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury announced on Wednesday (15th) deepening pressure on Iran's oil transportation infrastructure sector by designating more than 20 entities, individuals, and vessels for new sanctions.The announcement stated the sanctions are aimed at Iran's oil sales and Iran's regional proxies in the Middle East, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, as part of the Donald Trump administration's maximum economic pressure campaign against Iran and its regional proxies.All property and interests in property of the newly designated parties that are in the US or in the possession or control of US persons are blocked and must be reported to the OFAC.
