China's aviation industry maintained stable and safe operations in 1Q26, achieving a solid start to the year, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said at a meeting.Data showed that the industry recorded a total of 3.771 million transport flight hours and 1.406 million flights during the period, up 5.2% and 3.4% YoY, respectively. Total transport turnover grew by 10.9% YoY to 42.8 billion ton-kilometers.
