According to business big data from the Ministry of Commerce, during the Qingming holiday, the average daily sales of key retail and catering enterprises nationwide increased by 2.4% YoY, as extended spring breaks in multiple regions helped unleash consumer demand. Among 78 key monitored pedestrian streets (commercial districts), foot traffic and turnover rose by 6% and 6.7%, respectively.In terms of services consumption, data showed that during the Qingming holiday, sales of catering enterprises monitored by the Ministry of Commerce increased by 3.9%, while hotel accommodation spending on key platforms rose by 2.6%.
