GAC Toyota and FAW Toyota have filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with relevant regulations. They have decided to recall approximately 560,000 domestically produced Highlander and Crown Kluger vehicles starting from April, due to a design defect in the second-row seat back adjuster.This recall involves 317,990 Highlander vehicles produced by GAC Toyota and 242,170 Crown Kluger vehicles produced by FAW Toyota. The recall numbers are S2026M0036V and S2026M0037V, covering vehicles produced between July 2021 and January 2026.
