China Duty Free Group's subsidiary, China Duty Free International, and ANTA Group have recently signed a cooperation memorandum. Following the opening of the first ANTA store in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, last October, the two parties will further establish a long-term strategic partnership. They will focus on key overseas markets along the "Belt and Road" initiative and the Hong Kong and Macau regions, in conjunction with ANTA's "Thousand Stores Plan," to jointly expand duty-free and taxed retail businesses. This aims to promote Chinese brands in international markets and establish a benchmark cooperation model for "Chinese fashion going global."According to the cooperation memorandum, both parties will leverage their core advantages in brand, product, channel, and operations. They will adopt a combined approach of "phased pilot verification + large-scale expansion" to jointly explore duty-free and taxed markets in key "Belt and Road" countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka, while simultaneously expanding in the Hong Kong and Macau regions and other potential overseas markets. Through continuous optimization of cooperation mechanisms and business models, they aim to promote synergistic business development and mutual value creation. (ca/W)
