China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved the registration application for the innovative product of Neuracle Technology's implantable brain-computer interface hand motor function compensation system (NEO Brain-Computer Interface System), marking the first brain-computer interface medical device to be launched. This signifies the entry of the world's first invasive brain-computer interface medical device into the clinical application stage.

The NEO Brain-Computer Interface System is designed for patients with quadriplegia caused by cervical spinal cord injury, assisting hand grip function through pneumatic glove equipment. The system's unique "epidural implantable" solution requires only a groove to be milled on the skull, where a coin-sized brain-computer interface is implanted, with electrodes placed outside the dura mater, without direct contact with brain tissue. Subjects can transmit commands for hand movements to the pneumatic gloves through thought, completing actions such as gripping.
