Software provider Oracle (ORCL.US)      announced that its net income for 3FQ ended 28 February increased by 27% YoY to US$3.72 billion, with an adjusted EPS of US$1.79, higher than the market consensus of US$1.7. The Company raised its FY2027 revenue forecast, boosting its share price by 8% in after-hours trading session.

During the quarter, revenue hiked by 22% YoY to US$17.19 billion, also beating the expected US$16.91 billion. Of which, total cloud business revenue was US$8.9 billion, up 44% YoY, ahead of the expected US$8.85 billion, while cloud infrastructure revenue amounted to US$4.9 billion, up 84%, a faster incline than the 68% growth in the previous quarter.
