In addition to a massive consumer market, China has the world's largest and most comprehensive manufacturing system that serves as a critical link in global production and supply chains, an important engine that keeps driving China's economy forward in new and better directions, Lou Qinjian, spokesperson for the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), said at a press conference.

Lou emphasized that China has been, is, and will undoubtedly continue to be an ideal, safe, and promising investment destination for foreign investors.
