Even before recent geopolitical events, NVIDIA's (NVDA.US)      stock price had already become less correlated with its earnings, CLSA said in a report. Over the past six months, market forecast for its FY27 and FY28 earnings were raised by 27-35%.

Despite ongoing debates about the cyclicality of AI infrastructure, the market remained wary about the capex of the company's hyperscale data centers and the reduction in venture capital funding.

Nonetheless, the broker maintained a High-Conviction Outperform rating on NVIDIA, with a target price of USD300, remaining optimistic about its strong profitability and attractive valuation.
