TENCENT (00700.HK)  -7.400 (-1.490%)    Short selling $1.08B; Ratio 47.391%   's WeChat team has released a data report for the 2026 Chinese New Year (CNY). During this year's Spring Festival, offline transaction volumes in travel, lifestyle, and entertainment sectors grew by more than 20% YoY.

Specifically, transaction volumes in Hong Kong and Macau rose by 24% and 39% YoY respectively, making them the top two Asian markets for overseas offline transactions.

The transaction amount of mini programs in Hong Kong also spiked by over 70% YoY during this period. The daily average number of users visiting mini programs like Heytea (overseas), Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (Hong Kong and Macau), and Starbucks (Hong Kong and Macau) achieved an around 40% YoY increase, while the number of transactions on the Xiao Noodles HK mini program rocketed by over 200%.
