Driven by the launch of new models and improved operational efficiency, NIO-SW (09866.HK)  +0.320 (+0.661%)    Short selling $112.64M; Ratio 125.877%   is expected to post positive GAAP and non-GAAP operating profits in 4Q25, Nomura released a research report saying. Compared to the previous guidance of breaking even in 4Q25, the broker considered this results to exceed expectations.

Nomura believed that the new models NIO-SW plans to launch in 2026, such as the ES9 and Onvo L80 expected in 2Q26, and the ES7 expected in 3Q26, will help the Company further enhance its market position and improve its financial condition if these models follow a similar trajectory to the ES8 and Onvo L90.

Therefore, the broker kept rating at Neutral for NIO (NIO.US)      's US stock, with a target price of US$8.4.
