China Time and Space Information Group announced that China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom have recently launched BeiDou SMS services based on China's spatio-temporal service capabilities.

The BeiDou SMS service allows users to send and receive messages directly via BeiDou satellites using phones that support this feature, even in environments without terrestrial network signals.

BeiDou SMS is a public satellite communication service based on the short message function of the BeiDou satellite navigation system. So far, major Chinese brands such as Huawei, Honor, XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  -1.140 (-3.560%)    Short selling $2.65B; Ratio 81.394%   , vivo, and OPPO have launched nearly 60 mobile phone terminals that support BeiDou SMS.
