Ride-hailing platform Uber announced plans to launch a Robotaxi unmanned taxi service in Hong Kong within this year, making Hong Kong the first market in Asia to have robotaxi services.

However, the Company did not disclose the specific launch timeline, and only said that it will collaborate with previously announced partners, including BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  -6.700 (-4.869%)    Short selling $236.16M; Ratio 20.051%   and WERIDE-W (00800.HK)  -1.100 (-5.473%)    Short selling $347.64K; Ratio 13.093%   .
