ASCLETIS-B (01672.HK)  +0.040 (+0.236%)    Short selling $2.36M; Ratio 10.306%   has announced a placement of 69.256 million shares (around 6.53% of the enlarged share capital) at a price of HKD12.18 per share, around a 4% discount to yesterday's (2nd) closing price of HKD12.69.

The placement is expected to raise net proceeds of around HKD835 million, with around 90% intended for the preparation, groundwork, and launch of global Phase III trials of small molecule oral GLP-1 receptor agonist ASC30 for the treatment of obesity.
