The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) announced today that the best lending rate will remain unchanged at the current level of 5%. HSBC last adjusted the rate on October 31, 2025, when it reduced the rate by 12.5 bps.

Meanwhile, the interest rate for HKD savings accounts offered by HSBC will also stay put.
