In December 2025, China's urban unemployment rate for the labor force aged between 16 and 24 reduced to 16.5%, marking a six-month low, compared to the previous rate of 16.9%, the National Bureau of Statistics announced.

Last month's urban surveyed unemployment rate remained at 5.1% MoM, with an annual unemployment rate of 5.2%.
