Washington once again threatened to impose additional tariffs, causing investors to worry about a US-EU trade war, which has spurred the sell-off of US assets. The yields on long-term US treasury bonds rose significantly on Tuesday.

The US 2-year treasury yield remains at 3.599%, while the 10-year treasury bond yield leaped by 4.6 bps to 4.277%. The 30-year treasury bond yield elevated by 6.4 bps to 4.904%.
