Alibaba's Qianwen is set to introduce a brand new "AI life assistant" in a major update today (15th), according to a report from Chinese media Blue Whale Tech.

The main features of the "AI life assistant" will include ordering food delivery, booking hotels, finding restaurants, and handling administrative tasks with a single command.

In addition, The Paper cited tests as showing that users can place orders based on recommendations in the Qianwen app after authorizing and linking their Taobao Instant Commerce accounts. For travel, users can be redirected to the Fliggy app to book flight tickets.
