China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), and the National Energy Administration (NEA) jointly held a symposium on the power and energy storage battery industry yesterday (8th) to discuss and plan further regulation of competition order in the power and energy storage battery industry.

The meeting convened 16 related companies, including CATL (03750.HK)  -5.000 (-0.791%)    Short selling $249.40M; Ratio 56.628%   , BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)  -0.800 (-0.764%)    Short selling $1.06B; Ratio 98.115%   , CALB (03931.HK)  +0.580 (+1.789%)    Short selling $9.61M; Ratio 10.202%   , GOTION HIGH-TECH (002074.SZ)  0.000 (0.000%)   , EVE ENERGY (300014.SZ)  0.000 (0.000%)   , and SUNWODA (300207.SZ)  0.000 (0.000%)   , among 13 power and energy storage battery companies, Chinese media reported, citing people with the knowledge of the matter.
