The inaugural meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)'s Standardization Technical Committee for Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence was held last Friday (26th) in Beijing.

The committee is primarily responsible for the formulation and revision of industry standards in areas such as fundamental commonalities, key technologies, components, complete machines and systems, applications, and safety related to humanoid robots and embodied intelligence.

Meanwhile, the first plenary session of the committee was convened, where considerations for systematically promoting the development of the humanoid robot and embodied intelligence industry were discussed.

The meeting approved the charter, secretariat work rules, and procedures for standard formulation and revision, and researched and deployed key tasks for the next phase.
