The HSI closed the midday at 25,742, up 51 points or 0.2%. The HSCEI rose 24 points or 0.27% to 8,925. The HSTECH climbed 49 points or 0.9% to 5,528. Trading slowed ahead of the long holiday, resulting in a half-day turnover of HKD95.586 billion.
