At a sub-forum regarding the cooperation on humanoid robot innovation and development held during the 8th Hongqiao International Economic Forum, Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Unitree Robotics, said that the most critical core element for embodied robots now and in the future is the robot large model, and the current development stage is similar to 1-3 years before the release of ChatGPT.

The robotics field is developing at full speed on the back of supportive policies. Wang expects the average growth rate of individual companies in China's intelligent robot sector to reach 50-100% this year.
