Mary Huen, CEO of Hong Kong and Greater China & North Asia at Stanchart, said at Hong Kong FinTech Week that Stanchart will unveil an exciting pipeline of new offerings to be launched in Hong Kong next year, including digital assets custody services for Bitcoin and Ether, the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, as well as other strategic partnerships with leading industry players.

The market-first digital assets custody services supporting Bitcoin and Ether in Hong Kong target to be available in January 2026 will complement Standard Chartered Hong Kong's existing offering in Luxembourg and the UAE (via the Dubai International Financial Centre).
