Riverchain, a Hong Kong startup incubated by NEW WORLD DEV (00017.HK)  -0.020 (-0.276%)    Short selling $1.34M; Ratio 3.641%   , announced the completion of a USD5 million Series A funding round led by Betatron Venture Group.

Riverchain aims to address the long-standing working capital gap faced by subcontractors in the construction industry. It has accumulated over USD100 million in financing for the construction sector since 2024, supporting 115 public and private construction projects in Hong Kong, including major infrastructure projects in the Northern Metropolis and landmark developments like the Kai Tak Sports Park.
