AMD (AMD.US) and OpenAI announced a collaboration, with OpenAI planning to deploy 6GW of AMD GPUs over several years starting in 2H26, and acquire up to a 10% stake in AMD, Citi Research issued a research report saying. AMD's management expected this collaboration to generate revenue of US$100 billion over the coming years, with the data center AI business projected to reach a scale of tens of billions of dollars by 2027. Consequently, Citi Research raised its 2026/ 2027 revenue forecasts for AMD from US$40.5 billion/ US$48.5 billion to US$50.5 billion/ US$78.5 billion each, and lifted its EPS forecasts from US$4.81/ US$6.25 to US$4.87/ US$8.23.
