The Hong Kong Police Force announced on social media that the Anti-Deception Coordination Center had received more than 35 inquiries involving scammers sending text messages impersonating Now TV and HOY TV to claim that the recipients' Netflix subscriptions had been renewed.

Police urge the public not to call back the phone numbers listed in such messages.
