Hong Kong's Transport and Logistics Bureau noted that the launch of pilot projects for the advanced version of the low-altitude economy "Regulatory Sandbox X" in 1H26 as mentioned in the Policy Address will cover more technically complex application scenarios.

Among the first batch of 38 pilot projects announced in March this year, some have already accumulated sufficient data to move on to upgraded testing.

Keeta, after collecting over three months of flight data, is now set to open a longer-distance drone delivery route between Hong Kong Science Park and Tai Po Waterfront Park, with a drone delivery station set up in the latter.

Mable Chan, Secretary for Transport and Logistics, personally inspected the drone delivery station earlier, testing the entire ordering and pickup process. Satisfied with both the delivery speed and the food temperature, Chan even took the opportunity to introduce the station to Tai Po residents and park security staff on the spot.
