Yang Qing, Chairman of DONGFENG (600006.SH)  -0.050 (-0.649%)   , visited Shenzhen yesterday (22nd) for discussions with Ren Zhengfei, Founder of Huawei, and Eric Xu from Huawei, according to Chinese media.

The two parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as strengthening strategic trust, deepening strategic cooperation and promoting innovation in corporate governance and operational mechanisms.

During the meeting with Ren, Yang said that DONGFENG is actively advancing in new energy and intelligent transition, and will continue to deepen strategic collaboration with Huawei to jointly face industry changes and market challenges.

In discussions with Xu, the focus of the two parties was on continuously promoting comprehensive strategic cooperation, corporate management, talent cultivation and other issues, jointly exploring new paths for industry upgrading. Xu said that Huawei will fully support DONGFENG's transformational development.
