While Nvidia has announced plans to invest USD100 billion in OpenAI, the market remains upbeat about sales of Apple's iPhone 17 series.

The HSI opened 91 points or 0.35% higher at 26,435. The HSCEI grew 21 points or 0.2% to 9,392. The HSTECH rose 13 points or 0.2% to 6,271.

BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  +3.000 (+2.333%)    Short selling $1.63B; Ratio 41.973%   opened down 2% at HKD133. The number of Baidu Drive AI monthly active users has surpassed 80 million, and the overseas version of Baidu Drive has opened mobile number registration. JINGDONG Industrials has filed with the China Securities Regulatory Commission for its plans to list in Hong Kong.
