Nvidia (NVDA.US)      announced on Monday that it will invest US$100 billion in OpenAI to support the construction of new data centers and the infrastructure needed for AI workloads. Nvidia's share price leaped over 3%.

The two companies announced that they have signed a letter of intent for strategic transaction to plan the construction and deployment of 10 gigawatts of Nvidia's systems. Pursuant to the agreement, the first phase of Nvidia's systems will be deployed on the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform in 2H26.
