BABA-W (09988.HK)  +0.700 (+0.442%)    Short selling $3.60B; Ratio 16.232%   's Taobao Instant Commerce will initially launch a pilot program for its group buying business tomorrow (20th) in multiple central business districts across Shanghai, Shenzhen and Jiaxing, according to Chinese media. The pilot program will subsequently roll out in first- and second-tier cities nationwide.

The first batch of group-buying categories launched includes high-frequency consumption categories such as beverages, Chinese dinner and fast food chain, while brands encompass national chain restaurant brands like NAYUKI (02150.HK)  -0.010 (-0.813%)   , alongside local catering brands such as Xuji Seafood.
