FAST RETAIL-DRS (06288.HK) -0.500 (-2.041%) (9983.JP)'s subsidiary UNIQLO logged a 10% YoY elevation in domestic sales in Japan for the fiscal year ending August 2025, reaching JPY1.03 trillion (approximately HKD54.3 billion), according to Nikkei Asia. This marks the first time a Japanese apparel company has excelled the one-trillion-yen sales threshold domestically.Since 2022, UNIQLO has reportedly been reforming its store and production systems, leading to enormous sales growth. As of the end of August 2025, there were 784 stores nationwide in Japan. Over the past five years, the company has closed more than 30 stores, expanded the average store size by 10%, added product varieties, and bolstered demand.
