China's cybersecurity unit has conducted an interview and imposed penalties on Xiaohongshu for its poor management of trending search lists.

Xiaohongshu said on its official account that it had learned its lesson, and that it had promptly established a rectification task force in accordance with the cybersecurity unit's requirements to advance the special governance of the trending search list ecosystem.
