Nissan Motor's CEO Ivan Espinosa remarked that the aging lineup has become the next focus for the company's adjustments, foreign media reported. The company has entered a phase of launching a large number of new cars, which includes reducing the complex administrative procedures when introducing new models and considerably shortening the development process. This will help the company maintain the correct product launch rhythm and respond more briskly to changes in market trends.

The acceleration of development and market launch began 18 months ago, having yielded initial results, the CEO said. Nissan is also drawing on experiences from competitive regions like China, aiming to reduce the development time for new models from the current over 50 months to 37 months, allowing products to reach the market faster. However, Chinese competitor BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)  -0.700 (-0.665%)    Short selling $324.47M; Ratio 9.606%   managed to transform concept cars into mass production models within 24 months.
