US AI firm Anthropic is prohibiting Chinese-controlled companies from using its services. This includes any company controlled or majority-owned by entities from countries such as China, including their overseas operations, to prevent them from acquiring relevant AI technology through overseas subsidiaries, and further developing military applications that threaten US national security.

Previously, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei had advocated for technological sanctions against China, but he did not specifically name any companies.
