The HSI closed up 490 points, or 1.9%, at 25,829. The HSCEI climbed 168 points, or 1.9%, to 9,248. The HSTECH swelled 177 points, or 3.2%, to 5,825. Total market turnover for the day ascended to HK$369.698 billion.

CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK)  +0.020 (+0.344%)    Short selling $6.71M; Ratio 1.707%   , JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK)  -0.510 (-3.837%)    Short selling $75.30M; Ratio 18.736%   , and POP MART (09992.HK)  +2.200 (+0.683%)    Short selling $180.93M; Ratio 6.931%   will become blue chips, with CHINA TELECOM and POP MART up 0.8% and 1.9%, respectively, and JD LOGISTICS up 7.4%. On the other hand, J&T EXPRESS-W (01519.HK)  -0.270 (-2.512%)    Short selling $132.25M; Ratio 21.633%   will be removed from the HSCEI, with its stock dipping 0.4%.
