The US Department of Justice announced that two Chinese nationals were arrested this week for violating US export restrictions by shipping Nvidia (NVDA.US)      's advanced AI chips worth tens of millions of dollars to China, an offense that could send them to jail for up to 20 years.

According to the indictment, the Nvidia chips transported by the two Chinese nationals included H100 AI chips, which require a US export license to be exported to China.
