Amap has announced the official launch of its "Aerial Amap" project in Longgang, marking the establishment of a demonstration zone for the low-altitude economy that covers all business scenarios.

The "Aerial Amap" project aims to build an integrated digital map for both air and ground. By leveraging an industrial platform that brings together airspace, data, applications, and other resources, it will provide intelligent and integrated services for the public, enterprises, and government, empowering technological innovation and commercial implementation in low-altitude scenarios to create a sustainable operational ecosystem.

Dong Zhennin, Amap's vice president, stressed that the core of the project includes modules such as a 3D digital base for low-altitude, low-altitude security, low-altitude services, and airspace management, offering comprehensive data support, technical backing, safety assurance, management tools, and business operation services for the development of the low-altitude economy.
