BABA-W (09988.HK)  +1.200 (+1.037%)    Short selling $662.20M; Ratio 7.482%   announced the open sourcing of the industry's first video generation model using the Mixture of Experts (MoE) architecture, Wan2.2.

This model enables precise movie-grade control, which is expected to highly enhance creators' and developers' ability to generate movie-grade videos with a single click.

The Wan2.2 series includes the text-to-video model Wan2.2-T2V-A14B, the image-to-video model Wan2.2-I2V-A14B, and the unified video generation model Wan2.2-TI2V-5B, capable of handling both text-to-video and image-to-video tasks within a single framework.

Based on the MoE architecture and trained with curated aesthetic data, Wan2.2 can generate videos with cinematic quality, allowing creators to precisely control key dimensions such as lighting, time, tone, camera angle, aspect ratio, composition, and focal length.
