In July, China's non-manufacturing business activity index reached 50.1, shy of the market expectation of 50.2, down 0.4 ppts from the previous month but still above the critical point, according to the performance of China's non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) announced by the Service Industry Survey Center of the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

The composite PMI output index came in at 50.2 in July, down 0.5 ppts from the previous month but also above the critical point, indicating that the production and business activities of Chinese enterprises generally remained in expansion.
