In 1H25, the total profit of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in China amounted to RMB2.18 trillion, representing a YoY downfall of 3.1%, data released by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) showed. The decline deepened compared to the 2.8% decrease in 5M25.

The total operating revenue of SOEs was RMB40.75 trillion, down 0.2% YoY, with the slump narrowing by 0.1 ppt compared to that in 5M25.
