Sony (6758.JP) has filed a lawsuit against TENCENT (00700.HK)  -15.000 (-2.727%)    Short selling $1.95B; Ratio 16.927%   in a federal court in California, accusing Tencent's game "Light of Motiram" of ripping off its "Horizon" series and infringing on copyright and trademark rights, according to foreign media reports.

The lawsuit describes Tencent's upcoming game "Light of Motiram" as a complex version of a "Horizon" game, which has copied multiple unique elements from the "Horizon" series. At the same time, "Light of Motiram" features the same gameplay, story themes, and artistic elements as a "Horizon" game.
