According to Citi's report, TENCENT (00700.HK)  -15.000 (-2.727%)    Short selling $1.95B; Ratio 16.927%   is set to announce its 2Q25 results on August 13, and the broker expected it to deliver solid results.

The company's non-GAAP net profit is estimated to rise by 4.9% YoY to RMB60.1 billion, while its revenue and profit are expected to meet or exceed both the broker's and the market's consensus expectations. Its gaming business would have upside potential thanks to contributions from new games and deferred revenue, though seasonal weakness would partially offset these factors.
